Young animals that lose their parents through hunting or traffic are orphaned. In spring, many orphaned young arrive at the infirmary of the International Gabriele Foundation: young foxes, fawns, that are barely a few weeks old, motherless ducklings and many more. How can they be helped? This program gives insight into how it’s done.

Fabio, the Fox Kit
The little fox Fabio was discovered on the terrace of a housing complex where he had sought shelter during a storm. After it was clear that his mother had apparently died, animal friends brought him to the infirmary of the International Gabriele Foundation. His two-legged friends care for the fox kit with much love and attention, and prepare it for a life in the great outdoors.
